Budgets

A budget only matters if you can see how close you are to it.
Set a budget at whatever level makes sense for your business, across the whole organisation, or scoped down to a specific part of your attribution graph, a team, a product line, a shared platform cost centre, and Optimaze tracks actual spend against it as it happens. Filter it to the exact slice of cost you care about, and the budget updates as new spend lands, not on a delay waiting for someone to pull a report together. No more finding out you are over at the end of the month when the invoice arrives, you see it building in real time, wherever in your business it is happening, so finance and the teams actually spending the money are looking at the same number.
Consider a quarterly business review. Instead of chasing engineering for a manual export two days before the board meeting, they open the budget for the shared platform cost centre and see spend tracked against allocation in real time. When a spike pushes that cost centre past eighty percent of its quarterly allocation two weeks out, finance can flag the variance and have the conversation before it becomes a surprise in the board pack, not after. Budget versus actual becomes something finance already knows, not something they have to go and find out.
