Azure Integration

OPTIMAZE now connects to Microsoft Azure, bringing billing data in for cost analytics from a Microsoft Customer Agreement (MCA) or a Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) partner account. It is in Beta, and you will find it on the Integrations page under Cloud & Hosting, on the Microsoft Azure card.

Choose how your organisation buys Azure and the setup follows from that. For an MCA billing account, you register a single-tenant app in Microsoft Entra ID, create a client secret, and give the app the Billing account reader role on the billing account, which is all the access OPTIMAZE needs, and it can be withdrawn at any time by deleting the secret or the role assignment. For a CSP partner or MSP, you sign in with Microsoft and the billing data for all of your customers comes in from Partner Center.
